Your Wedding Planning Guides
Congrats on your engagement! Planning a wedding can be stressful and overwhelming. You can either hire a professional help to manage your wedding plans or plan your wedding on your own. Regardless what you do, organization is the key to keep track with your lists and budgets. You can use the wedding planning app to use as a way to keep track of everything. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
After you have announced your engagement, have a discussion on a wedding budget. Discuss who will help cover the cost and how much you are willing to spend. This will determine a ballpark for your budget. Once you have a budget in mind, you can dive right into your planning.
Set a date
Give yourself plenty of time to plan ahead. Most vendors and reception venues tend to book a year or more in advanced. Think about seasons, weather, holidays and other events that may bring surprises. Consider non-peak months or off days to save money.
Get inspired. Start researching ideas for your weddings. Pinterest is my go to place for all ideas. Try Instagram and any bridal websites for more ideas. Once you have decided on your wedding theme, you can go on Amazon and search for decorations.
Book a vendor and reception ceremony
Compare prices, packages, and restriction from several potential venues. Hire a photographer, florists, band and catering services if your budget allows. Visit several venues before you make a decision.
Wedding registry and guest lists
Lastly, search for a perfect wedding dress and bridesmaid gown. There are several bridal websites you can do your search. Book an appointment at a bridal store to have your families and friend to view the bridal dresses or purchase a wedding dress online and have a party at home for a viewing.
Just have fun! Don’t forget to book your honeymoon.
